Mendix, a Siemens business, announced its Mendix Cloud for Government platform has attained FedRAMP Authorized status.

With this accreditation and listing on the FedRAMP Marketplace, federal agencies can use the Mendix platform to develop and deploy a fine-tuned, fit-for-purpose application landscape designed to evolve with changing agency needs, the company said.

“We often hear from our government customers that siloed, disparate systems cost their teams time, valuable insight, and security concerns,” said John Ustica, president and CEO of Siemens Government Technologies. “Mendix Cloud for Government is the ideal choice for those seeking to save time and cost through single source of truth visualization and optimization of their application environment for their critical missions of national consequence.”

Mendix Cloud for Government is a secure, scalable and reliable Platform-as-a-Service securely hosted on Amazon Web Services GovCloud and managed by Siemens Government Technologies.

With Mendix, government agencies can rapidly deploy “single pane of glass” applications through a virtual private cloud to unify fragmented systems and data silos with a cohesive interface and built-in governance for data protection and compliance, the company said.

“As federal organizations modernize antiquated legacy systems, low-code platforms continue to be seen as a chosen solution. The capabilities go beyond the automation of manual processes and enable organizations to innovate at scale and think bigger,” said Matt Garst, senior vice president of Mendix, Americas. “Today’s milestone confirms Mendix Cloud for Government meets the standards outlined by FedRAMP so government agencies can securely utilize the Mendix platform to achieve their digital transformation goals within their organizations.”
