Digital Capital Partners, a private equity firm led by technology entrepreneur Jay Sunny Bajaj, has acquired Govplace.

This is DigiCap’s first investment in the federal sector, positioning Govplace for accelerated growth in the federal IT marketplace, the company said.

Govplace’s leadership team, including CEO Simone Feldman, will remain intact.

“Govplace brings a powerful combination of innovation, expertise, and passion to its customers, and we are honored to partner with them in this next chapter of growth,” said Bajaj, DigiCap founder and CEO. “We look forward to working closely with Simone and the incredible team at Govplace to build on their success and further strengthen their impact in the federal IT landscape.”

As part of this partnership, Govplace will strengthen DigiCap’s IT modernization, cybersecurity and operational optimization offerings to help federal agencies tackle digital transformation challenges.

“This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for our company,” Feldman said. “By joining forces with DigiCap, we’re not only expanding our technical capabilities but also reinforcing our commitment to the culture of excellence that has made us both a trusted federal partner and an exceptional place to work.”

DigiCap’s investment strategy is grounded in its 4Cs framework: Company, Culture, Concept and Capital. This aligns closely with Govplace’s mission to deliver secure, resilient and cost-effective solutions to federal agencies, the company said.
