Chugach Government Solutions has appointed Christopher Buffoni as senior vice president and chief financial officer to oversee financial operations, support strategic growth and drive performance.
“Chris is a transformative financial leader with a proven track record in innovation, adaptability, and resourcefulness driving business growth and operational excellence,” said CGS President Dirk van der Vaart.
Buffoni brings over 30 years of experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation within the aerospace, defense and government contracting sectors. Before joining CGS, he was CFO of Cherokee Federal.
His career also includes a tenure with SAIC and Leidos, where he held finance leadership roles, including operations CFO and business operations executive.
