Adam Lurie
CEO, Knexus
Adam Lurie’s efforts in leading the acquisition of Knexus and reorganizing the company to create the foundational platform for long-term success and sustainability are two of his crowning achievements. With close to two decades of expertise building AI solutions for public sector customers, Knexus has the talent, expertise and past performance to stand alongside public sector customers as they explore their AI adoption journey, he said.
“Knexus’ future is bright,” said Matthew Dean, managing partner at Scare the Bear Capital. “Adam is a growth-oriented leader who is guiding the company down a path that will help modernize government agencies. His enthusiasm, positivity and excitement for change energize everyone in his orbit, and I’m excited to play a role in Knexus’ journey.”
Why Watch
In 2025, Knexus is heavily focused on implementing AI capabilities into challenging use cases for public sector customers. With multiple new contract awards in 2024 that leverage GenAI, Knexus is demonstrating how agencies can incorporate GenAI into their workflow fast and efficiently, Lurie said. Knexus is using GenAI to support a myriad of public sector challenges, such as training, mission planning, logistics and code generation. Success in 2025 will demonstrate how AI can revolutionize the way the government works.
“While there are plenty of technical challenges with GenAI that still need to be solved, the underlying technology is increasingly democratized and available to users of all technical backgrounds,” Lurie said. “True innovation will now come in the creative and ingenious ways that people use it to solve real-world problems. Whoever comes up with the most creative use cases to apply GenAI will find that they have customers waiting in line around the block to work with them.”
Fun fact: Lurie is confident enough in his table tennis game that if the GovCon industry had a March Madness-style tournament, he’d bet on himself to make the final four. As Knexus moves into new offices in 2025, the company is already making room for the table tennis table.
