    Kevin Youngquist, Cohesity

    Kevin Youngquist

Vice President of Public Sector, Cohesity

Veritas merged with Cohesity during 2024. Both companies continued to grow through the transition as leadership teams stayed focused on the customer mission and protecting the data of the largest public organizations in the world.

Cohesity Chief Sales Officer Kit Beall said Kevin Youngquist is a committed leader driving industry-leading cyber resilience for public sector organizations and proving Cohesity is the world’s most preeminent choice for data security with differentiated AI capabilities.

“Cohesity’s mission is to protect, secure and provide insights into the world’s data,” Beall said. “Kevin’s team fulfills that mission by helping federal, state and local organizations gain more value from their data.”

Youngquist said he approaches life and relationships from the position of wanting to be a “learn it all” rather than a “know it all.”

    Why Watch

In 2025, Youngquist and his team are focused on delivering AI-powered insights to the hundreds of exabytes they help manage for federal and state/local organizations.

“It’s exciting that our team is delivering the best of generative AI technology to multi-cloud environments while helping our government protect itself against nation-state attacks,” Youngquist said.

The culmination of data security meeting emerging artificial intelligence is changing the way organizations approach data management and hybrid cloud services.

Fun fact: While completing an international MBA, Youngquist summited a 20,187-foot mountain in the Himalayas and faced a harrowing descent because of unexpected challenges from nature and fate. He describes the experience as transformative, shaping how he approaches and overcomes challenges.
