    Jordan Burris, Socure

    Jordan Burris

    General Manager, Public Sector, Socure

Jordan Burris worked with government leaders to prevent millions in taxpayer fraud losses since taking over the leadership of Socure’s public sector business.

“I am honored to lead a team driving a generational transformation in identity across the public sector, collaborating with more than 30 federal and state government agency customers,” he said. Those customers include the states of California, Texas, New York, Florida, Login.gov and others.

Burris is engaged in ongoing efforts to accelerate Socure’s work alongside government agencies to eliminate fraud driven by advanced nation states and enable improved access to government services.

“Jordan is a proven leader driving transformational change in the public sector,” said Matt Thompson, Socure chief revenue officer and former head of public sector. “He is widely respected for his deep expertise on digital identity, has an unmatched passion for stopping fraud, and helps government partners improve access to vital benefits and services.”

    Why Watch

In 2025, Burris and his team are heavily focused on advancing the adoption of a unified approach to digital identity verification. This year, he predicts nation-states will ramp up sophisticated fraud attacks against public sector agencies and higher education institutions.

To combat this, he believes in the necessity of treating digital identity as critical infrastructure while requiring transparent and measurable performance metrics and prioritizing the use of AI to ensure cutting-edge tools are deployed to protect taxpayers and combat fraud in real time.

“The keys to driving public sector impact are clarity in focus, simplicity in action and predictability in results,” he said.

Fun fact: Burris is a girl dad to two amazing kids. “Yes, I’m outnumbered, and yes, I’ve accepted my fate,” he said.
