    Donnie Scott

CEO, IDEMIA Public Security North America & Head of Global Strategy, IDEMIA Public Security

One big recent achievement for Donnie Scott was the successful launch of the next generation of mobile ID technology in the state of New York. What made this launch extra special is the app’s design leveraging IDEMIA’s most advanced features to improve usability and accessibility for all residents.

“Together with the state of New York, we are demonstrating our collective commitment to expanding the use of mobile ID while implementing technologies that are convenient, secure and equally accessible to all citizens,” Scott said.

He said the app was even No. 1 in the travel category in the Apple App Store during the launch.

“I am proud to work with Donnie and am impressed with his passion for the technology, solutions and people at IDEMIA Public Security,” said Matt Cole, CEO, IDEMIA Public Security. “Donnie brings immense value to our organization and continues to lead by example to all our employees.”

    Why Watch

In 2025, Scott’s team is focused on continuing to position themselves to enhance their collective capabilities, strengthen their commitment to customers and empower their teams to respond swiftly to customer demands and opportunities. In 2025, they will continue working passionately to help clients meet their desired missions and outcomes through leading technology. And they’ll continue to focus on innovation and excellence.

“With a customer-first approach to everything we do, I am proud to lead a company filled with talented, passionate and empowered individuals who strive to strengthen our commitment to our clients and truly unlock the world and make it safer with our technology,” Scott said.

Fun fact: Scott describes himself as a “huge sneakerhead.” His passion for shoes inspired IDEMIA Public Security North America’s quarterly recognition program, celebrating employees who demonstrate exemplary performance or align with company values: curious, trusted, caring, daring and together. Each year, employees submit designs for the next year’s shoes. In 2023, over 100 designs were submitted, and the top two were chosen by hundreds of employee votes.
