    John Anderson

Sector President of National Security Sector, GovCIO

John Anderson and his team focus on integrating proactive strategies with innovative technology to improve critical national security services. At GovCIO, they deliver the experienced resources and advanced solutions needed for mission success across law enforcement, defense agencies and military services. Their experts, with backgrounds in law enforcement, counterterrorism and the military, develop technical solutions to improve safety today and build a smarter future.

“GovCIO and my team of national security experts are dedicated to exceptional performance, customer growth and innovation,” Anderson said. “Our work speaks for itself as we demonstrate our industry expertise and continue to position ourselves as leaders in government IT. Our primary goal is to continuously transform the federal IT landscape and ensure our solutions effectively meet the evolving needs of national security.”

A recent highlight was securing a 5-year, $2 billion General Services Administration Alliant 2 task order supporting the Defense Department. This builds on their successful SANDBAR program, which they’ve supported since 2019. Through SANDBAR, DOD used streamlined acquisition to address mission-critical IT gaps, bolstering agency IT infrastructure and national security.

The next phase, MAVERICK, will integrate cybersecurity, data analytics and AI with existing IT solutions. GovCIO will collaborate with academic institutions, small businesses and other organizations to implement technologies that meet the evolving needs of the warfighter and intelligence community. The company will also manage task orders, provide training and procure essential equipment to ensure global impact.
