Matt Tait
CEO & President, ManTech
Thanks to “our great AI talent,” ManTech has built on its reputation as the industry leader, developing and delivering mission-specific AI solutions that help clients solve their most difficult mission challenges, said President and CEO Matt Tait.
AI helped Customs and Border Protection stop illegal contraband shipments, predict maintenance needs for military vehicles and complex government IT infrastructure, and speed the response time and efficiency of missile defense systems, space launches and intelligence collection for warfighters.
In addition to AI achievements, ManTech secured nearly $1 billion in Marine Corps contracts for Force Design and Information Warfare, landed the ICON cyber contract—one of the largest in its 55-year history — and won a $166 million Defense Medical Logistics contract to modernize IT systems for 25,000 users.
Why Watch
In 2025, ManTech will continue to pursue major contracts in the defense, intelligence and federal civilian sectors by leveraging the company’s expertise in advanced technologies — and a proven reputation as a trusted partner of government.
To build on 2024 success, Tait’s team will focus on empowering employees through training, career opportunities, and a top-tier benefits package. ManTech ensures its workforce is AI-fluent through company-provided training.
“At ManTech, outstanding tech talent will always be the cornerstone of great achievements for our clients and our superpower,” Tait said. “Thanks to our more than 9,000-strong talent pool, ManTech is consistently recognized as the best mission partner for innovation and topnotch delivery. Together we provide game-changing innovation and capabilities no competitor can match – in AI, cyberspace superiority, digital modernization and intelligent engineering.”
Fun fact: When Tait served in the Navy, he used to fly in P-3s, an air, surface and subsurface patrol and reconnaissance surveillance aircraft. “It has been fun having ManTech work on this aircraft’s highly sophisticated successor, the P-8,” he said.
