    Jason Goodfriend Joins GDIT as VP, GM, Army and Defense Agencies

    Jason Goodfriend, GDIT

    GDIT hired Jason Goodfriend as vice president and general manager of Army and defense agencies.

    He will lead 2,500 employees and oversee IT services, including engineering, architecture, logistics, warfighter support and simulation training for the U.S. Army and other defense organizations worldwide.

    Goodfriend has over 20 years of experience managing large organizations in government and private sectors.

    He served most recently as interim group president and chief operations officer of CAE’s $2 billion defense organization, where he implemented strategies that streamlined operations, reduced costs and delivered increased profitability.

    Goodfriend also held executive roles at Akima and BAE Systems, and in private-equity-backed organizations.
