Justin Garrison
Senior Director of Communications, Marketing & Strategy, Valiant Integrated Services
Since joining Valiant in 2020, Justin played a key role in the company’s transformation. In just a few years, Valiant evolved from a relatively new company navigating multiple acquisitions to an industry leader in training, language services and subsistence support for the U.S. and its allies.
“It’s been an exhilarating journey to help shape Valiant’s market presence and strategic focus,” Garrison said. “Our teams have done an incredible job supporting some challenging and critical missions for our customers, and I love showcasing the hard work they put in every day.”
Garrison says he’s especially proud to lead a team that knows how to balance sticking with what works while also being creative in how the team presents Valiant’s people, brand and capabilities.
“I’m really proud to have been part of Valiant’s transformation into a well-respected player in our industry,” he said. “We have a wide range of services and a lot of truly talented people, and at the end of the day, nothing is more important to each of us than empowering our customers’ missions.”
Why Watch
This year, Valiant is focused on refining its brand and shining a light on its people, both inside and outside the company. The company is also dedicated to delivering smart, efficient solutions that make a difference for customers. Valiant also has a recently refreshed leadership team with new ideas for the future.
“As we step into this next chapter for Valiant, our main focus is clear: we want to drive success for our customers and be the go-to employer for anyone looking to build a career in our diverse markets, and I’m proud to be part of a team that’s making such a positive impact around the world,” Garrison said.
Fun fact: Garrison is a classically trained tenor and countertenor, but he avoids the spotlight, preferring to sing in the car rather than on stage. He has four rescue chihuahua mixes, three of which were surrendered to the vet clinic where his husband used to work. He jokes that his husband had to leave the job because they couldn’t afford to take in any more dogs.
