    Amanda Rudolph, Ultra I&C

    Amanda Rudolph

Vice President of External Communications & Marketing, Ultra Intelligence & Communications

When Amanda Rudolph joined Ultra I&C in late 2023, she focused on linking legacy products to the new company brand. She worked closely with all teams, especially growth and engineering, building trust early. Rudolph quickly established the external communications team as a key strategic partner for driving business growth. Her team translated complex customer needs into clear, impactful stories, demonstrating how Ultra I&C’s products enhance mission readiness and operational effectiveness in challenging environments.
“Amanda’s leadership and strategic approach is transforming our brand,” said Jon Rucker, CEO of Ultra I&C. “She’s delivering impressive outcomes that are driving real growth for our business. Her energy, creativity, and commitment to success are not only achieving results, but also reinforcing a standard of excellence within our organization. Amanda’s work exemplifies the culture of innovation and high performance that continues to distinguish Ultra I&C in our industry.”
    Why Watch
In 2024, her team is rolling out multiple integrated communications campaigns focused on products and technology that will deliver essential decision-making capabilities to warfighters. These comprehensive storytelling initiatives require close collaboration with product engineers and partners across the business, showcasing her team’s ability to integrate complex technical information with compelling messaging.
“Great marketing doesn’t feel like marketing – it feels like a story you can’t wait to share,” Rudolph said. “I’ve had the good fortune throughout my career to tell the stories of products and technology that save lives and protect our way of life. In a world of competing distractions and endless noise, the ability to tell a compelling story is the ultimate differentiator.”
Bringing one new product to market is a challenge, but her team is simultaneously developing and executing multiple communication campaigns. Each campaign is strategically crafted with tailored messaging for different audiences, using a mix of traditional and digital media to maximize reach and impact. These campaigns are increasing awareness of the company’s cutting-edge technologies in existing and new markets and solidifying Ultra I&C’s position as a leading innovator in defense solutions.
“I still find that the best inspiration for a story is to get to know the people and products at their core ⏤ experiencing products in the field or on the factory floor, talking with our innovators, and connecting with the end user to understand the needs and experiences of those we serve,” she said.
Fun fact: A lifelong story juggler, Rudolph has had an insatiable appetite for narratives since childhood, often diving into four or five books at once.
