Edgewater Federal Solutions board of directors has named Tom Ferrando as the company’s new CEO.

Ferrando will lead Edgewater’s strategic growth into new markets while ensuring continued success in delivering exceptional support to its customers, the company said.

He will remain a member of Edgewater’s board of directors.

“It is my distinct honor to join Edgewater as CEO. Over the past two years as Executive Board Chairman, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the company, its mission, and its culture of excellence,” said Ferrando.

“My goal is to help Edgewater successfully navigate its large business transition by empowering the team to sustain and drive growth across multiple agencies. I’m committed to guiding Edgewater to its fullest potential as a leader in Federal IT contracting.”

Ferrando has over 35 years of technology leadership experience working with the government to design, build and operate technology solutions.

Before joining Edgewater, he was CEO of SalientCRGT from 2015 to 2021, and president and CEO of CRGT from 2008 to 2015 as a spinoff from CherryRoad Technologies.

In addition to his role at Edgewater, Ferrando currently serves as chairman of the board for Vistant and Link Solutions; a board member for GovCIO and CherryRoad Technologies; and advisory board member of the Nakupuna Companies.
