Parimala Rao, deputy chief information security officer at the General Services Administration, has won WashingtonExec’s Pinnacle Award for Cybersecurity Executive of the Year (Government).
On Nov. 21, WashingtonExec announced the Pinnacle Awards winners during an annual event showcasing government and industry executives who notably spurred innovation for federal clients in the region. The event, attended by over 525 individuals, took place at The Hilton in McLean, Virginia.
The ceremony also paid tribute to George Schindler, former president and CEO of CGI and current board member. He was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his significant career achievements and contributions to CGI and leadership within the community.
This year’s awards received a record level of interest and excitement. A special “thank you” goes out to event judges Brad Antle, Susan Lynch and Andy Maner — and Award Sponsor SAIC.
