    WATCH: Amentum’s Brian Heffernan Shares Personal, Organizational Commitment to Supporting Veterans

    According to the U.S. Census, there were 15.8 million military veterans in the U.S. in 2023, representing 6.1% of the total civilian population aged 18 and over. This Veterans Day, WashingtonExec is highlighting the ways in which the GovCon industry is recognizing and supporting the veteran community, around the holiday and year-round.
    Brian Heffernan, global manager of DEI&B and military programs at Amentum, sits down with WashingtonExec’s Rachel Kirkland to discuss how and why Amentum prioritizes veteran support, and his own personal connection to Veterans Day and veteran initiatives as an Army vet himself.
