Craig Mueller
Vice President of Federal, Varonis
Data is the target of nearly every attack, and while the motives and actors change, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of critical information is paramount for every civilian and defense agency.
In 2025, Craig Mueller’s team at Varonis will focus on assisting federal customers, alongside ecosystem partners, in navigating and addressing Office of Management and Budget requirements such as M24-14 and M21-31 using data-centric approaches that reduce enterprise risk and enhance the maturity of security programs across the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency zero trust maturity model data pillar.
Why Watch
“We’re extremely excited because we’re going to be FedRAMP authorized in 2025,” Mueller said. “This will provide our national security customers with the ability and flexibility to utilize on-prem and cloud service delivery architectures to ensure their mission needs are met, both for short-term tactical and long-term strategic goals.”
Greg Pomeroy, senior vice president of worldwide sales at Varonis, said, “Craig is a proven federal leader who has a track record of success in building an organization to ensure federal clients achieve the outcomes they expect from their business partners.”
Fun fact: Mueller graduated from college with his New York State teacher’s certification before moving to Virginia and starting his career in business.
