Chief Human Resources Officer, Valiant Integrated Services

One of Valiant Integrated Services’ most significant recent achievements was creating a culture of genuine HR partnership within the organization, according to Shannon Jones. By fostering a customer service mindset, they have built a strong, mission-driven team committed to supporting employees who serve in challenging environments. At the same time, they streamlined services, systems and tools, enhancing both efficiency and effectiveness.

“Shannon has made a tremendous impact on Valiant since she joined the company. Her empathy, upbeat demeanor, and customer-first philosophy have transformed our HR team into a vital partner for the business, meeting the challenge of supporting our rapidly evolving organization head on,” said Mike Devoto, CEO of Valiant Integrated Services.

    Why Watch

In 2024, the HR team is concentrating on implementing a new Human Capital Management system to boost efficiency. This is a massive undertaking, but this innovative system will enable Valiant to further enhance the employee experience. It’s a lot of hard work, but the company is making this investment with one goal in mind: to empower its people by delivering improved, modern and innovative systems and processes.

Fun fact: Jones once biked across the U.S. with the group Bike the U.S. for M.S. “What’s even crazier is that I did this within a year of purchasing my first bike,” she said. “We covered 4,000 miles from Virginia Beach to San Francisco, and it’s an adventure I’ll never forget!”
