Siemens Government Technologies has appointed Aaron Johns as vice president of digital solutions.

Johns is a  leader and digital transformation solution provider with over 27 years of experience with Siemens. He has spearheaded software-enabled modernization initiatives for U.S. military customers since joining SGT in 2020.

“Aaron possesses a unique ability to effectively bridge complex technologies with easily translatable concepts and real-world challenges for our customers,” said John Ustica, president and CEO of Siemens Government Technologies. “Recognized for both his technical insights and hands-on approach to digital transformation initiatives for our customers, Aaron will be a tremendous addition to our executive leadership team.”

In his new role, Johns will oversee all software and hardware from the Siemens Digital Industries Xcelerator portfolio, supporting cleared work for government customers and agencies.

Before joining SGT, Johns was the U.S. Navy technical account manager for Siemens Digital Industries Software, focused on Defense Department organic industrial base and supply chain improvement initiatives.

Johns and his teams also helped customers apply the Siemens digital twin to solve complex modernization, design, development and production challenges.
