Thomas served in the U.S. Army for 39 years, culminating his career as the four-star commanding general of U.S. Special Operations Command.
âTony possesses deep, firsthand insight into the vital importance of developing and deploying game-changing technologies,â said CEO Erik Wittreich. âWe are thrilled to have him join our team to support Ridgelineâs continued growth.â
Backed by Enlightenment Capital, Ridgeline provides proprietary intelligence and cyber technology solutions to control data, protect against ubiquitous technical surveillance, and enable digital signature management.

Before SOCOM, Thomas commanded the Joint Special Operations Command, served as director of military operations at the CIA and created and commanded the first Special Operations Joint Task Force in Afghanistan.
âIn todayâs rapidly shifting environment, maintaining our technological and operational superiority is increasingly important,â Thomas said. âI have been impressed with Ridgelineâs ability to create innovative software products as a trusted partner in advancing their customersâ missions. I am excited to work alongside our outstanding team in supporting our nationâs essential security requirements.â
