Ridgeline International announced that Gen. Raymond A. “Tony” Thomas III has joined its board of directors.
Thomas served in the U.S. Army for 39 years, culminating his career as the four-star commanding general of U.S. Special Operations Command.
“Tony possesses deep, firsthand insight into the vital importance of developing and deploying game-changing technologies,” said CEO Erik Wittreich. “We are thrilled to have him join our team to support Ridgeline’s continued growth.”
Backed by Enlightenment Capital, Ridgeline provides proprietary intelligence and cyber technology solutions to control data, protect against ubiquitous technical surveillance, and enable digital signature management.
“Tony’s thought leadership, global perspective, and dedication to preserving the United States’ warfighting superiority across the battle spectrum make him an invaluable resource to Ridgeline,” said Jason Rigoli, partner at Enlightenment Capital and chairman of Ridgeline. “He will enhance the company’s efforts to deliver innovative technologies to enable critical national security missions.”
Before SOCOM, Thomas commanded the Joint Special Operations Command, served as director of military operations at the CIA and created and commanded the first Special Operations Joint Task Force in Afghanistan.
“In today’s rapidly shifting environment, maintaining our technological and operational superiority is increasingly important,” Thomas said. “I have been impressed with Ridgeline’s ability to create innovative software products as a trusted partner in advancing their customers’ missions. I am excited to work alongside our outstanding team in supporting our nation’s essential security requirements.”
