AMERICAN SYSTEMS won a prime contractor spot on the Defense Technical Information Services’ Information Analysis Center indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, multiple-award contract for research and development under Pool 1.
The vehicle has a $33 billion ceiling and runs through Sept. 29, 2027.
The DTIC IAC contract will provide technical expertise in 22 scientific and technical focus areas critical to current defense needs, such as autonomous systems, directed energy, cybersecurity, biometrics and advanced materials.

Services provided under the contract include scientific and technical advice to government, industry, academia and other approved domestic users in the areas served by the IAC, the company said.
