AMERICAN SYSTEMS has won a $42 million task order by the U.S. Air Force under the General Services Administration’s Multiple Award Schedule.

The contract is awarded under the Department of the Air Force at Hanscom Air Force Base, and includes a base year plus four years that started in September.

Under the contract, AMERICAN SYSTEMS will implement an Enterprise Voice Solution for U.S. Air Force, Space Force and Air National Guard installations worldwide, meaning 200,000 endpoints and 100,000 voicemail users. This work includes comprehensive IT services and managing the system’s infrastructure and operations.

“Our proven performance delivering unified IT and communications solutions in complex, multi-regional environments enables us to offer a secure, scalable “as a Service” offering to support the Air Force’s future communications needs,” said John Steckel, president and CEO of AMERICAN SYSTEMS. “Our company’s proven capabilities and commitment to innovation will enable the USAF to ensure secure connectivity for all users.”

AMERICAN SYSTEMS will use its EVS solution to provide services through the Department of the Air Force Data Centers located at Scott and Hill Air Force Bases in the U.S., and overseas locations Ramstein Air Base, Germany; Kadena Air Base, Japan; and Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

The subcontractor is ConvergeOne Government Solutions.
