Thomas Mahoney’s biggest recent achievement was helping launch OptivClearShark.com on March 14, 2024, marking one year since Optiv announced its acquisition of ClearShark. The new site unites the value propositions of four separate legal entities under a single brand and mission: to solve the toughest cybersecurity challenges, ensuring nothing stands in the way of a more secure government, he said.

One of Mahoney’s favorite quotes comes the great Stephen Covery of Zig Ziglar, Zig Ziglar: “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.”

Mahoney said the company assembled top industry talent into the Optiv + ClearShark Marketing organization to deliver on a strategy of “Brand, Demand, and Pipeline.”

Fun fact: Mahoney’s teams all know of his deep fear of snakes and bought hundreds of tiny rubber snakes to hide in his office. He is still finding them to this day.
