Ellen Bjork is supporting Riverside Research’s focus on companywide internal and external growth. The company experienced double-digit year-over-year growth and won all eligible recompetes in 2023 as well as a host of new contracts. Bjork and her team play a key role in supporting this growth from the proposal phase through win announcements. They also launched targeted paid and unpaid advertising campaigns, as well as an online alumni group, to recruit top talent to staff the contracts.
Bjork also coordinated many aspects of the Riverside Research facility consolidation in the D.C. region. In late 2024, the company’s Crystal City and Centreville offices will be consolidating into a new, more spacious Fairfax location that will accommodate about 60 new roles at the location in the next few years. Bjork and her team are supporting the move with office layout and design, branding, internal and external messaging and a ribbon cutting that will take place in late fall 2024.

In 2024, Bjork and her team are focused on elevating the Riverside Research brand and increasing internal and external engagement. They’re sharing unique stories across social media, the company website, and internally to highlight Riverside Research’s innovation, expertise, and thought leadership.
The team recently completed a year-long video series, “From the Lab to the Field,” showcasing Riverside Research’s expertise and mission-focused solutions. The series demonstrates how their internal research and development anticipates and meets the needs of government customers.
