    Chelsea Stearns, Parry Labs

    Chelsea Stearns

Director of Human Resources, Parry Labs

Chelsea Stearns’ most recent achievement involved successfully leading a companywide digital transformation in HR processes by implementing new software that improved efficiency and delivered significant cost savings.

She also spearheaded the revamp of the company’s benefits, which has been crucial in attracting and retaining top talent while aligning with the organization’s financial goals. These efforts contributed to the company’s 4.9/5.0 Glassdoor rating, winning Best Companies to Work in Maryland in 2024, and earning Great Places to Work certification.

Aydin Mohtashamian, chief operating officer of Parry Labs, said Stearns is an exceptional leader who elevates the entire organization.

“Her strategic vision, dedication and ability to execute complex initiatives has transformed the way we operate,” he said. “From driving engagement in a rapidly scaling organization to revamping our benefits program, Chelsea has consistently delivered results that exceed expectations. Her work has not only enhanced our efficiency but also strengthened our company culture.”

    Why Watch

In 2024, Stearns’ team is heavily focused on talent development through upskilling and reskilling initiatives to help employees adapt to changing roles and technologies.

“Life is challenging no matter what,” she said. “We can either play it safe, remain stagnant and resent others for achieving what we desire, or we can put in the effort, take risks and go after what we want. So, why not choose the path that leads to personal growth and success?”

Fun fact: Stearns has been fascinated by business since she was a little girl. As a child, when she wasn’t running her lemonade stand, she would go door-to-door asking neighbors if they needed their windows washed in exchange for a few dollars. Although she didn’t need the money, she wanted it. Providing a product or service and being compensated for it was empowering to her. She loved being able to “work” and make money to buy the toys she wanted.
