    Sylvia Kilpatrick, SMX

    Sylvia Kilpatrick

Vice President of Human Resources, SMX

Sylvia Kilpatrick’s biggest recent achievement will be successfully leading the harmonization of benefits, policies and HR systems across all of SMX, to include Outside Analytics and Creoal Consulting which were acquired by SMX in late 2023.

“Sylvia is a key member of our Senior Leadership Team and demonstrates daily how SMX lives its Core Values, especially Invest in Our People,” said SMX Chief Administrative Officer Laurell Aiton.

“During 2024, Sylvia has been heavily focused on integrating two acquired companies, managing everything people related and with a significant focus on harmonizing employee benefits. Her inclusive approach and strong attention to detail are skills she utilizes daily in her execution of this significant project that will heavily influence people feeling a sense of belonging at SMX.”

    Why Watch

In addition to supporting a successful integration of Creoal and Outside Analytics, one of Kilpatrick’s team’s strategic priorities is continuing to build momentum and position SMX as a destination employer. This year, the team continued to curate its Career Pathing framework, building out resources on the company intranet to further support employees as they grow their careers at SMX. The team will also continue to invest in and develop employee engagement initiatives such as the leadership development program. Focusing on these priorities has led to an increase in employee retention.

Fun fact: Kilpatrick is a certified yoga teacher and last year completed a 9-month yoga teacher training program to better understand yoga philosophy.
