    Madelyne D’Angelo

Chief Human Resources Officer, Riverside Research

In 2023, HR at Riverside Research prioritized engaging with employees to understand their work experience and gather feedback for improvement, said Madelyne D’Angelo. The department is now implementing strategies based on this feedback, working with employees through various groups focused on onboarding, wellness, professional development and rewards.

This collaboration led to immediate enhancements in programs, processes and policies, while also identifying long-term strategies for continuous improvement.

“Madelyne brings a wonderful combination of professional focus and approachable style to her work,” said Dr. Steven Omick, president and CEO at Riverside Research. “She is always ready to tackle new challenges and, with seeming ease, is able to juggle multiple tactical and strategic priorities. Madelyne is a joy to work with, and I’m grateful for her leadership here at Riverside Research.”

    Why Watch

In 2024, D’Angelo and her team are focused on driving Riverside Research’s continued evolution. Their efforts include a major redesign of the employee onboarding process, identifying three areas for expanding the company’s rewards and recognition programs, creating a multiyear professional development strategy for thought and people leaders, and launching a new supervisor training program.

“At Riverside Research, continuous improvement and the quest for excellence are deeply imbedded in our culture. There is a true dedication to our talent, organization and customers,” D’Angelo said. “It’s an exciting and inspiring place to work, and I am proud to call Riverside Research my professional home.”

Fun fact: “I am a washed-up power forward who still plays basketball with the Maryland Senior Women’s Basketball Association,” D’Angelo said. “We play in regional and national senior games.”
