Heather Gerczak
Chief Administrative Officer, Integral Federal
Along with her role at Integral Federal, Gerczak was selected to lead the National Contract Management Association as the board chair for program year 2025, which began on July 1.
“It is my privilege to lead the association and serve alongside my extremely well accomplished colleagues and peers,” Gerczak said.
Why Watch
In 2024, Gerczak is heavily focused on continuing to elevate the contract management profession. Whether it be in her day-to-day professional responsibilities at Integral or while serving as NCMA’s board chair, it is important contract management professionals be recognized as a business leader as well as a technical experts around acquisition. Contract management is much broader than just buyers and sellers, it includes all the teams in procurement, supply chain, finance, pricing and program management.
“The professional community that serves the larger government contracting business is small and no matter what technological advancements occur or company names it’s the people that stay the same,” Gerczak said. “The value of connecting with the community and building professional/personal relationships can not be understated.”
Fun fact: Service to mission and country has always been important to Gerczak’s family. Her great-uncle enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and one of the new, fast response cutters is named after him, which is stationed in Honolulu.
