Elizabeth Larson
CFO, Siemens Government Technologies
With the increasing demand for energy resulting from cloud and AI-enabled technologies supporting breakthroughs across industries, Elizabeth Larson is incredibly proud to lead a team that negotiated a key long-term contract with a data center customer using Siemens’ electrical distribution equipment.
“As I’ve just transitioned into my CFO role at Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), I look forward to helping our team achieve even more consequential agreements that help government customers fulfill their vital national security missions,” she said.
Larson advises others to always keep an open mind to career transition and change. “Growth and opportunity could be just one networking event away,” she said.
Why Watch
As she assumes new responsibilities at SGT and immerses herself in all things government contracting, Larson is excited to learn from her team and industry peers. SGT, she said, really sits at the unique intersection of a technology powerhouse in Siemens with over 170 years of experience in innovation – and their customer base – which requires innovation to solve some of their greatest challenges in smart infrastructure, automation and digital transformation.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have a leader like Liz with more than 20-years of experience in Siemens developing winning financial strategies across technologies and product lines, to help us best serve our customers and their missions of national consequence,” said SGT President & CEO John Ustica.
Fun fact: “As a mother of three, family is central to me, and we really do cherish our time together,” Larson said. “While there seems to be an abundance of family-oriented activities in the DMV, if anyone has good recommendations for a family of three young girls, I’m all ears!”
