At this year’s Pinnacle Awards, we’ll celebrate the journey, career, contributions and longstanding impact of CGI President and CEO George Schindler.

The awards gala will be live, in-person Nov. 21 at The Hilton in McLean, Virginia.

Schindler has led CGI’s global growth and innovation since 2016, strengthening the company’s market position in IT consulting and business services. He also sits on the company’s board of directors.

His leadership has been pivotal in CGI’s commitment to sustainability, including achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2030. Schindler’s career at CGI is marked by countless accomplishments and a dedication to excellence, which you’ll hear more about at the event.

Before becoming CEO, Schindler was president and chief operating officer until May 2015, leading the company’s global operations. He held various leadership roles across CGI’s operations and services.

Schindler joined CGI through its acquisition of American Management Systems, Inc., and then led the growth of the U.S. business for commercial and government clients. He also led the company’s Canadian operations, its banking and investment intellectual property, and operations in the Greater New York region.

From 2006 to 2011, Schindler was president of CGI Federal and led the integration of a $1 billion acquisition.

Join us in celebrating Schindler’s career. The deadline to submit an industry and/or government executive for a Pinnacle Award is Sept. 5. Click here for more information about nominations, sponsorship opportunities and how to attend.
