Todd Gentry
President, C5ISR, HII Mission Technologies
Todd Gentry is president of the C5ISR business group at HII Mission Technologies. He leads with a strategic vision, overseeing all facets of HII’s C5ISR operations — from strategy development to execution, growth initiatives, performance optimization and excellence. With a background as director of the advanced aviation assessment portfolio under the U.S. Army and roles supporting U.S. Special Operations Command, Gentry’s expertise spans combat and material development, engineering, acquisition, technology advancement and logistics.

Gentry believes a key component to success in any market is to develop and sustain a deep level of trust between the workforce and client base. “Relationships and trust between HII employees and our client base are crucial,” he said. “Developing and maintaining relationships and trust is easily the best way to create new opportunities and sustain current ones.”
Gentry’s recent accomplishments include booking more than $2 billion in contract awards supporting the DoD. His team continues to be positioned in a number of DoD services and labs, warfare centers and many combatant commands and will expand within those markets while opening the dialog for new opportunities.

Gentry has been dedicated to the DOD for more than 30 years, retiring from the U.S. Army with more than 25 years of service, including Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraq Freedom.
