Dan Edwards
Director, Cybersecurity, Digital Innovation, SAIC
Dan Edwards recently rolled out a Continuous Authorization to Operate capability at SAIC, which provides one of the most robust governance risk and control solutions available today designed with agency requirements in mind. The solution streamlines and increases auditability, speeds up cloud adoption and drives down costs by reducing work for skilled security staff in addition to automating and orchestrating authorization processes.
“Every new technology advancement and associated cyber threat presents an opportunity to learn, grow and create innovative defenses and capabilities to enable our customer mission,” Edwards said.
As an innovative technologist, Edwards recognizes technology as a key component of business transformation. Globally, threat actors use new technology as an opportunity to develop new attack methods. Edwards emphasizes the need to build security into technology deployment, practice good cyber hygiene and aggressively ensure compliance monitoring through cATO.
Why Watch
