    Brianna Burnell

    Vice President of Contracts, Amentum

Brianna Burnell is honored to lead the contracts organization at Amentum, a global leader in engineering, project management and solutions integration. For over a year, she has guided the company’s team of contracting professionals dedicated to supporting complex missions worldwide.

This achievement, coupled with her recent appointment to the NCMA Board of Advisors, underscores the strategic importance of Amentum’s contract management efforts.

“Brianna is a top-notch contracting professional who leads her excellent team in making sure we are the best partner for our customers,” said Mark Esposito, Amentum deputy general counsel. “The U.S. government, allied nations and commercial customers rely on Amentum’s contracts team to deliver expert contract administration for their critical missions around the globe.

    Why Watch

In 2024, Burnell’s team is focused on continuing to refine its processes and leveraging new technology such as performance management tools to enhance efficiency and compliance. These initiatives will lay the foundation for sustained growth and innovation within the organization as it looks to the future.

Last November, Amentum announced an agreement to merge with Jacobs’ Critical Mission Solutions and Cyber and Intelligence businesses, creating a new global systems integration and technology solutions leader and an independent, publicly traded company. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of fiscal year 2024.

“Success in contracts management is not just about managing contracts; it’s about building lasting relationships and creating value for all parties involved,” Burnell said.

Fun fact: Burnell is a big fan of Formula 1 racing, and her favorite driver is Max Verstappen. Last year, she had the thrilling experience of attending the Canadian Grand Prix with her family.
