David Hathaway
President of the Defense Sector, ManTech
ManTech’s Defense team is doubling down on Bringing Digital to the Mission for all its DOD clients. Case in point: its $622 million contract with the U.S. Army for its Technology Insertion Transformation Unified Services program.
Under this initiative, ManTech is creating and delivering enterprise-wide digital transformation for Army’s Combat Capabilities Development Command C5ISR Center, which delivers intelligence and analysis of real and potential threats worldwide. ManTech’s work on this vital program spans every facet of high-end digital engineering, powered by sophisticated tools and techniques that ensure information dominance for decision-makers and warfighters.
ManTech is Bringing Digital to the Mission for every branch of the DOD: Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Space Force. This is important as its teams use digital engineering and other techniques to more rapidly develop warfighter capability.
“In the many years I’ve served this nation, as an active-duty officer in the U.S. Air Force and as a contractor, there has not been a more important time to bring digital to the mission for our clients,” Hathaway said.
Why Watch
In 2024, the team is dedicated to digitally transforming DOD, focusing specifically on AI. They have the necessary expertise to implement AI across all their defense clients. An example of this is ManTech’s AI transformation project for U.S. Air Force human resources, which impacts over 500,000 personnel including active-duty, Guard, retired and civilian members. This initiative uses AI and enterprise engineering to set the stage for the organization’s complete digital transformation. A key approach in all ManTech projects is the strategic use of companywide expert knowledge. The success of the U.S. Air Force human resources project reflects the skills of both the Defense team and the specialists in ManTech’s AI Solutions and Digital Transformation teams.
Fun fact: “I’m the proud father of four talented and accomplished daughters. #girldad,” Hathaway said.
