Duane J. Piper
Chief Administrative Officer, Aeyon
Duane J. Piper’s most significant recent accomplishment involves successfully integrating the operations of the four legacy companies that now form Aeyon. Following this integration, the focus shifted to refining the consolidated back-office operations and developing infrastructure to support and sustain the company’s growth.
Over the past year, the company merged four ERP systems into one, set up a DOD-compliant procurement system, renewed certifications for ISO 9001, 14001, and CMMI Level 3 standards, improving the learning and development platform, creating a job framework to match diverse skills, and supporting community initiatives through Aeyon’s philanthropy efforts.
“I could not be more proud of what we’ve accomplished with Aeyon over a very short period of time,” Piper said. “It was a tremendous amount of work to acquire and integrate three companies, mature the operating infrastructure, and position the business as a market leader in automation and digital transformation. But looking back and seeing the results makes it worth the effort. I’m excited about where and how we continue to advance Aeyon’s capabilities and market presence.”
Why Watch
Aeyon will continue to grow and diversify in 2024 and beyond. By leveraging collective strengths in automation, data analytics and transformation strategies, Aeyon will advance its processes and comprehensive technologies, deliver better outcomes faster and push forward its leadership position in the market.
“We are fortunate to have Duane on our executive team as we navigate the challenges of Aeyon’s growth and market positioning as a leading provider of advanced strategies and digital transformation to the U.S. government, Duane’s leadership and experience have proven to be invaluable as we’ve moved through the stages of our evolution,” said Aeyon President and CEO Sunny Singh.
Fun fact: Piper married his high school sweetheart, and they have been together for 40 years, married for 36 of those. Throughout their marriage, they have both grown individually and as a couple while serving their country in the military and in the private sector of government contracting. It brings them joy and amusement to reflect on their journey from where they started to where they are now.
