Vivek Malhotra, co-founder and former president of VMD Corp., has been named president of Xcelerate Solutions following its merger with VMD.

Before co-founding VMD, Malhotra served in technical roles at Titan Secure Solutions (now part of L-3 Technologies), ECS and Oracle.
