    Steve Ambrose, SAIC

    Steve Ambrose

    Chief Climate Scientist, SAIC

Steve Ambrose’s recent achievements include being elected by the Consulting Report as one of the Top 25 Sustainability Consultants & Leaders and continuing to grow SAIC’s climate enterprise across the company.

From Ambrose’s perspective, it’s important to become more resilient against wildfires, floods, increased temperatures and the health impacts of climate change. He’s committed to help customers better understand the benefits of using solar and wind energy as well as plan for future climate change innovations.

    Why Watch

In 2024, Ambrose is focused on increasing SAIC’s ability to build resilience and adaptation for federal partners. This includes supporting the sea level rise project and using innovative analysis and AI techniques to help customers better understand the potential impacts to their infrastructure and make better data driven decisions.

Ambrose also supports Team Rubicon, a volunteer disaster response organization that responds to disasters and engages in community activities.

“Steve has demonstrated an outstanding ability to explain science to the general public and our customers to help them implement the most practical solution to their needs,” said Mike Mazzella, senior vice president of the Civilian Business Unit at SAIC. “His thought leadership through panels and fireside chats provides information that increases knowledge for all industry, not just SAIC.”
