    Prachi Sukhatankar, Booz Allen

    Prachi Sukhatankar

Vice President of Climate and Infrastructure, Booz Allen Hamilton

Prachi Sukhatankar’s biggest recent achievement was working with her team and scaling it to support federal agencies in their charter to advance climate resilience, modernization and data missions. Ultimately, they see climate resilience as an economic, national security and health imperative for the country. The team is positioned to bring the collective ingenuity of Booz Allen through its deep mission knowledge, and consulting, digital, analytics/AI services and solutions.

    Why Watch

In 2024, her team is heavily focused on accelerating the pathways to resilience through the right application of science and technology – purposefully operationalizing the climate science and embedding that intelligence in open data platforms, and developing mission critical solutions that improve democratization and dissemination of climate data & products. Through exploration and application of cutting-edge technologies, we are looking to bring the scale, speed and forward-leaning mindset we need to solve the problems in this decisive decade.

“Figure out what core values make you radiate with joy and stick with those,” Sukhatankar’s said. “For example, a good mix of creativity, critical thinking and perseverance is the perfect recipe for me – especially when I can work with my teams to apply it to climate resiliency missions.”

Fun fact: Growing up, Sukhatankar cherished her involvement in theater. Her most enjoyable experience was playing a lead role in a two-act play during college. She believes the power of good storytelling and drama lies in their ability to unite people across differences and foster harmony and coexistence.
