Buchanan & Edwards and i3 joint venture BrightPoint LLC has won a position on the Commerce Department’s Acquisition for Transformational Technology Services contract. This 10-year contract is valued at $1.5 billion.
DOC influences trade, economic development and technology initiatives in the U.S. The CATTS program, managed by the Office of the Chief Information Officer, seeks contractors to securely maintain and upgrade current IT infrastructure and to provide engineering for future upgrades.

The program also focuses on supporting, maintaining and implementing traditional IT services, and emerging and evolving technologies. It covers a range of services and can leverage BP’s expertise in digital document and records management, managed service outsourcing and consulting, IT operations and maintenance, IT services management, and cybersecurity.
