SAIC has appointed Amira Hossain as corporate development officer.
In her new role, Hossain will be responsible for SAIC’s mergers and acquisitions, inorganic strategy development, and the execution of acquisitions and divestitures.
“Amira brings a wealth of Corporate Development leadership to SAIC and is well poised to help lead us into the next phase of our growth strategy,” said SAIC Chief Financial Officer Prabu Natarajan. “Her strategic insights, knowledge and extensive negotiation capabilities will be an asset as we move forward.”
Hossain has more than 20 years of experience in M&A, having developed and executed value-accretive growth and investment strategies. She completed over 100 transactions globally ranging from $20 million to $90 billion in enterprise value in a range of industries.
Before SAIC, Hossain was head of corporate development and integration at ICF, where she led the company’s growth in the federal civilian and technology markets. Prior to ICF, Hossain spent time with numerous Fortune 500 companies leading M&A, strategy and business transformation.
