Julie Van Leunen has joined ASRC Federal as senior vice president, talent and workforce strategy, where she’ll report to Chief Human Resources Officer Shaveta Joshi.

In her role, Van Leunen will lead a team tasked with creating new employee engagement and development programs and evolve the enterprise’s talent acquisition strategy.

“I’m excited for Julie to join our team as she will leverage her vast experience and expertise as we continue our journey to cultivate a culture of engagement as well as growth and development for our current and future employees,” Joshi said.

Van Leunen will partner across the business to provide strategies to effectively develop the employee experience, including programs that support succession planning and performance management; foster continuous learning; enable career redeployment and mobility; and optimize the talent processes, the company said.

Van Leunen brings nearly 20 years of experience to ASRC Federal across several HR disciplines including talent, career mobility, employee engagement, international HR and operations. She spent over 13 years at Serco North America in multiple roles, including senior vice president and CHRO for the last three years.
