Enlightenment Capital portfolio company RealmOne has acquired Torin Consulting, a provider of operational support and software development to help intelligence missions succeed. RealmOne specializes in cybersecurity, intelligence collection and analysis, data science and hyperautomation for the Defense Department and the intelligence community.

“Torin is joining RealmOne with a dedicated team, a culture of relentless innovation, and a skill set that perfectly complements our existing strengths,” said RealmOne CEO Gary Daigle. “Together, we will strengthen RealmOne’s position as a middle market leader, enabling us to support our customers’ most demanding national security challenges. We are excited to join forces with Torin as one team.”

The addition of Torin strengthens the company’s position as a large, middle-market technology solution provider supporting the IC and DOD with over $2 billion in recent prime contract awards and nearly 1,000 employees, the company said.

“We are thrilled to be joining the RealmOne team,” said Jaime Shafter and Evan Smith, founders of Torin. “Their passion for innovation and commitment to successful mission outcomes are well aligned with ours.”

Torin marks the fourth acquisition into RealmOne.

“Torin brings a devoted team, a culture of innovation, and a complementary set of capabilities, all of which will enhance RealmOne’s ability to continue solving the most complex challenges that impact our national security,” said Evan McMullin, principal at Enlightenment Capital.
