Edgewater Federal Solutions has promoted Brian Carr to chief financial officer to oversee the accounting, finance and pricing departments and lead merger and acquisition activities.

“I speak on behalf of the entire leadership team when I say that Brian has been a great addition to the team, and we’re excited to see him in this new position,” said Edgewater CEO Dave Yockman. “Since joining the team, Brian has transformed our approach to pricing strategies, and financial planning and reporting. He’s a tremendous asset, and I’m confident that he will continue to find innovative and calculated ways to support our team and customers.”

Carr joined Edgewater in August 2022 as the vice president of finance. With over 20 years of experience in the federal IT services sector, he has held leadership roles in finance, capture and pricing at GovCIO, Salient CRGT and Cognosante.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to step into the CFO role at Edgewater and fortunate to be leading a team of exceptional accounting and finance professionals who work hard every day to support the business and our customers,” Carr said. “It’s an exciting time to be at Edgewater and I’m looking forward to the challenge of further establishing ourselves as a middle market contractor of choice while also continuing to remain true to the culture that has been at the heart of the company since its inception.”
