    Henry Choi

Vice President of Growth and Strategy, Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space, HII Mission Technologies

Henry Choi leads the growth strategy for HII Mission Technologies to advance space initiatives in cyber, electronic warfare and modeling and simulation to the U.S. Space Force.

As space becomes a contested domain, HII is applying its expertise in air- and ground-domain EW and the electromagnetic spectrum to the space domain, driving enhancements to the protection and survivability of space-deployed assets, he said.

“Our subject matter experts are incorporating EW design, development and hardware-in-the-loop testing capabilities into the process to make space systems more robust, defendable and easily upgradable,” Choi said.

Mission Technologies’ work in space is diverse but ties directly to the nation’s space strategy. Part of the cyber domain includes protecting space assets and enabling space-based exploits. Mission Technologies is working to enable and implement its offensive and defensive cyber operations in the space domain and to apply its expertise in air and ground electronic warfare and the electromagnetic spectrum.

    Why Watch

Mission Technologies is developing innovative solutions in support of space-based operations and protecting U.S. space assets to counter adversaries’ threats. Choi’s team is heavily focused on capturing and delivering a hardware in-the-loop space asset test environment and digital twins.
