QinetiQ US has named Charles Fielden, an experienced intelligence community executive, as the new executive vice president and general manager of its Intelligence, Cyber and Information Advantage business unit.

Fielden will oversee a team of engineers who work on evaluating cyber tools and testing their capabilities for the U.S. military and intelligence groups.

“Charles is a skilled and respected leader who brings more than 25 years of experience to our team,” said QinetiQ US CEO Shawn Purvis. “His impeccable track record supporting intelligence community, commercial industry and U.S. Military partners will be an invaluable asset to our customers.”

Fielden brings over 15 years of experience from Northrop Grumman Corp., where he grew the company’s cyber and intelligence portfolio. There, he won multiple $100+ million contracts.

Before joining QinetiQ US, Fielden was CEO of a proprietary LLC where he led a transformation of the company culture, leading to 90% positive responses in employee satisfaction surveys while improving profitability.

“QinetiQ US has established itself as an industry leader providing cutting edge solutions for intelligence community and defense partners,” Fielden said. “I’m looking forward to further empowering this mission-oriented team and leveraging our collective talent to help our partners eliminate threats across the globe.”
