Acentra Health has appointed Grant Christie as senior vice president of market strategy and solutions.
Christie is a seasoned IT solutions and services veteran with experience in the public sector and commercial healthcare spaces, Acentra Health said. In his new role, he will play a pivotal part in aligning the company’s products, solutions and tech-enabled services to meet healthcare market needs.
Kelly Loeffler, executive vice president and chief growth officer at Acentra Health, said Christie’s extensive experience in U.S. healthcare technology and specialized knowledge in Medicaid systems will be crucial for developing innovative solutions and services Acentra Health introduces to the market.
“He brings a solid reputation as a trusted advisor, team builder, and growth leader,” she added. “We look forward to putting his insights to work in helping our clients deliver better health outcomes to the priority populations they serve.”
Christie recently led NTT DATA’s public sector government consulting and advisory division, focusing on health and human services programs such as Medicaid, behavioral health, child support services, and eligibility. He contributed to the company’s double-digit, year-over-year growth.
Before that role, he served as the division’s chief technology officer, consulting with state Medicaid agency leaders.
Before NTT DATA, Christie served as the chief product officer at HPE/DXC (now Gainwell Technologies), overseeing the vision, strategy and execution of its payer portfolio for Medicaid and commercial sectors in the Americas healthcare region. He also managed care management, immunization registry, and data analytics.
