    Alex Gross, Parsons Corp.

    Alex Gross

Senior Vice President & Chief Strategist for Defense and Intelligence, Parsons Corp.

In 2023, Alex Gross’ team delivered multiple technical innovations, leading to record-breaking business growth. They landed the largest Parsons defense and intelligence contract to date. In November 2023, they demonstrated a disruptive new paradigm for space warfighter training customers described as “unbelievable” and “game changing.”

Gross is focused on putting people first.

“When we make our number one priority supporting our people and their families, our teams move mountains to deliver for the mission,” he said. “And when we deliver, business success naturally follows. It’s a win-win-win!”

    Why Watch

In 2024, Gross and his team are continuing to identify critical gaps and develop solutions for U.S. government missions by finding those disruptive, cross-cutting technologies that provide asymmetric advantages. That includes converging Parsons’ deep expertise in cyber systems, electronic warfare, sensors and AI. Their focus is on pioneering ahead of mission need.

Outside of work, one of Gross’ favorite activities is volunteering as Cubmaster for his son’s Cub Scouts pack. He especially enjoys the solid-motor Rocket Derby. Between chilling rain, blistering wind and three failed electronic ignition systems, the launch this year was almost a catastrophe, he said.

“But we persevered! ‘Never give up. Never surrender!’” he added. “The scouts were beyond happy, watching their creations accelerate into the sky. That’s the same feeling we share in the space industry today – sometimes it’s tough, but it’s magical when we succeed.”
