    Mark Eddings, LMI

    Mark Eddings

Senior Vice President of Space Market, LMI

Mark Eddings’ biggest recent achievement was successfully navigating the subways and crowds in Manhattan with his five kids for an entire week, which he said gave him the momentum to build critical strategic partnerships across U.S. Space Force, intelligence community and commercial space companies.

Fun fact about Eddings: During the 2002 Winter Olympics, he was invited to carry the Fiji sign during the opening and closing ceremonies for the Fijian Olympic team. He served a church mission in Fiji and could speak Fijian, so he was assigned to walk with the one Fijian athlete and his coaches. It was a once in a lifetime experience to walk with the Fijian team and all the athletes from around the world shortly after 9/11, Eddings said.

“Always be anxiously engaged in a good cause” is his personal quote.

    Why Watch

In 2024, Eddings and his team’s focus will be on designing a resilient position, navigation, timing and data transport network to support Joint All-Domain Command and Control of complex kill-webs. They are also helping Space Force complete a cloud-enabled, model-based digital thread from Force Design, through requirements, acquisition, test and fielding.
