    Andrew Bird, IDEMIA

    Andrew Bird

Vice President of Pricing & Deal Strategy, IDEMIA Public Security North America

Andrew Bird views leveraging technology to enhance outcomes for citizens and customers—such as increased efficiencies, improved service delivery, cost savings and fraud prevention—as a top priority for government.

Legacy systems need to be updated and processes reimagined, which can be time-consuming and costly, he said. The ever-changing technology landscape also brings challenges in cybersecurity, ensuring the security and reliability of technologies, safeguard against cyberthreats, and protection of sensitive data and citizen information.

Bird also sees several factors converging concerning how companies and customers adapt to the future of work. These challenges underscore the heightened significance of building agile and resilient teams.

“The pricing profession represents a challenging and rewarding career field that plays an integral role in every company’s success,” he said. “I am fortunate to lead a passionate team, work under exceptional leadership, and collaborate with dedicated colleagues. These three pillars are essential in optimizing the impact of pricing strategies within any organization.”

    Why Watch

Bird said 2024 is the year of action at IDEMIA. The company has a new global public sector structure with profitable growth targets and a strategic roadmap for future organizational expansion. Bird’s mission is to support his team and foster alignment to the broader organization in strategic planning and execution to ensure IDEMIA’s growth and success.

“Andrew is one of the most diligent and detail-oriented people I’ve had the privilege of working with,” said Josh Hyde, vice president of business development at IDEMIA Public Security North America. “Both traits serve him, and the team, extraordinarily well when pursuing both new opportunities, as well as exploring new avenues for growth in our existing accounts. He’s constantly pushing both himself and others to achieve the same level of focus on the details, to push the business to the next level.“
