    Matt Jones, Sigma Defense

Sigma Defense, a portfolio company of Sagewind Capital, has acquired Juno Technologies, a San Diego, California-based firm known for its IT engineering, systems integration, software development and technical support services to the Defense Department.

This acquisition supports Sigma Defense’s goal to improve data fusion and analytics capabilities, particularly for DOD’s “sense, make sense and act” approach, facilitated by DevSecOps. This strategic move aims to broaden Sigma Defense’s software development, systems integration, engineering and support services, enhancing its offerings to current customers and throughout DOD.

“Juno Technologies’ deep expertise and successful track record in application development and automation complement our existing capabilities and will allow us to serve a broader range of customers, particularly within the U.S. Navy,” said CEO Matt Jones. “The Juno Technologies team has a stellar track record of delivering engineering, integration, software, and technical support. Their success and culture are a natural fit for Sigma Defense.”

Juno Technologies has a proven track record of advancing and modernizing systems, particularly for NAVWAR, Military Sealift Command and the U.S. Coast Guard. The company has a key role in the Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services and Project Overmatch, which is the Navy’s strategic initiative for Joint All Domain Command and Control.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Sigma Defense to further enhance the capabilities we can deliver to our customers and expand our reach into new channels,” said Juno Technologies CEO Julie Ferraro. “Together, we look forward to delivering innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers, particularly within the US Navy.”
