Serco has been re-awarded a contract to continue offering technical and professional support for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Public Assistance Technical Assistance Contract.
The company will supply personnel and resources to aid in response to disasters and emergencies recognized by the president. The contract is exclusive to Serco, with a maximum value of $525 million over five years.
This program allows communities to rapidly address and recover from significant disasters or emergencies, with Serco providing additional staff to support FEMA’s recovery operations.
“At Serco, our culture puts people first. I’m proud of this opportunity for Serco to remain an impact partner to FEMA in providing crucial support for the rebuilding of critical infrastructure needed to help communities recover from natural disasters and emergencies,” said Tom Watson, Serco CEO in North America.
“We look forward to continuing to support FEMA in serving the needs of state and local governments in navigating the road to recovery by seamlessly integrating with FEMA’s recovery efforts,” he added.
